Carter has been directly involved in all aspects of commercial real estate development, including entitlement, finance, design, construction, leasing and operations of several different asset classes, including urban infill and greenfield site development, multiple retail formats, medical office and limited- and full-service hotel projects. Before coming on board as a principal at PinPoint Commercial, Carter was the COO and vice president of development for Williamsburg Enterprises Ltd., leading a small, fast-paced team. Projects included raw land acquisitions and entitlement, land subdivision, pad sales, and credit tenant build to suits. Prior to Williamsburg Enterprises, Carter held development roles at WCF Development and RHS Interests, where he was responsible for sourcing, due diligence, underwriting and execution of real estate investments.

Before embarking on a career in real estate, Carter was a professional athlete and competed in two America’s cups and two Olympic campaigns, winning two world championships, two Admiral’s cups and numerous national championships. Carter is a proud University of Texas Longhorn. He majored in history and earned a Texas Business Foundations Program certificate at UT’s McCombs School of Business. He and his wife, Lizzy, enjoy getting outdoors with their two daughters, Grace and Eliza.
